I found it lame that NBC didn't cover more on Mitcham, but at the same time, I also feel like it should be about the athletics at the Olympic games. Regardless of his orientation, he was able to beat the Chinese on an event they dominated for years.

Hard to say, but he should've gotten a bit more coverage regardless.
