A few months ago I started experimenting with feed readers to keep track of the blogs I enjoy.
First I tried Shrook.
Now I'm using Net News Wire and overall like it better. The problem? I tried synching with a free NewsGator account online and the online version says I have tons more unread posts than I actually do, and doesn't display my flagged items. Since I like to read entries and flag for later comment, I need to see those flagged items whether I'm on my MacBook, the family iMac, my iMac at the office or another machine.
Could Google Reader be worth a try?

Well, google is centralized so you could access it anywhere. I use it at work on a limited basis and it seems fine.
I use Safari on my iBook and view most of my feeds at home, so I'm not too knowledgeable of stand-alone feed readers and stuff.
Hope you're staying warm.
I have only tried Google Reader, by now it had worked for me... As I use the Centralized page IGoogle... you can add a gadget and have the whole info you want easy to get it...
Jesus
I love google reader. It's a great program and even has a tab where you can find other blogs like the ones you currently read. I've used it for almost a year and have had very few problems with it (mostly with the outside blogs getting republished to RSS causing me to read them twice...only happens with one blog). GL with what you choose, and let us know!
I gotta say, I do like google reader. Granted it isn't as nice as an offline reader, but because it is online and centralized it works pretty good. Too bad apple doesn't come up with something similar that works with dotMac, that would be great.
